Meet Alexa
I grew up in a little town close to Gießen in Germany, which is about 45 minutes north of Frankfurt. I always loved sports and did competitive javelin throwing until I was 20 years old.
The first time I ever saw a Spikeball set was at a French surf camp in 2018 and then I started playing at my university in Gießen in 2019. I immediately loved it and started playing my first tournaments. The best thing about Spikeball is for sure the community - that it brings so many people together and that you can take it everywhere you go.
Signature roundnet move?
Definitely my serve. I lean a lot to the side and then hit the ball with full power. I also love good flicks.
What's one thing everyone should experience in your city?
As there’s a lot of castles around my city so that would definitely be a go-to thing to do!
